Kasandrinos Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Review

I received the below mentioned complimentary product for the purpose of this review. All opinions are 100% my own.

Kasandrinos Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil Review

When it comes to Olive oil which do you prefer Italian, Greek or Spanish? Most people in America will say Italian. Why? because we just don't associate olive oil from any other place but Italy. But did you know most olives are grown in Greece and Spain and even though Italy does grow their own olives sometimes they must import olive oil from Spain and Greece to meet their supply and demand. So it makes sense that Greece and Spain also produce some of the world's best olive oils.

So what makes these oils different. Like a fine wine, it's all in the taste. The taste depending on the type of olives can range from Fruity, to grassy to spicy to bitter. I would say try all three and determine what tastes good to you.  I prefer the Greek and Spanish Olive oils myself. Like I said its all in the flavor you prefer.

I was recently sent a bottle of Kasandrinos Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil to review. As you can see it has a wonderful green color, the bottle is dark which is essential to olive oil to minimize exposure to light.

The Koroneiki Olive which is the type they use for their olive oil is hand-picked, produced via cold extraction and are pressed within 48 hours of harvest which is extremely important the longer olives are allowed to sit before being pressed they start becoming acidity and susceptible to pests so the quicker they are pressed the better the product.  Another thing I like about the Kasandrinos Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is that they only sell Olive oil from this year's harvest to maintain quality.
