Pecan Cake
This one is definitely a keeper. Its great to take to potlucks or to serve to your family or guest for any get together.
Recipe type: Dessert
  • 1 Package Yellow Cake Mix
  • 6 eggs
  • Vegetable Oil
  • White Corn Syrup
  • Sugar
  • Butter
  • Chopped Pecans
  • Vanilla
  1. Mix Yellow Cake ingredients together with:
  2. Eggs
  3. Cup Water
  4. /2 Cup Vegetable Oil
  5. Beat cake mix according to package directions. Pour the mixture into greased 9x13 baking dish and bake 20 minute at 350 degrees.
  6. Take the cake out of the oven and put small holes in the cake with a fork or the end of a wooden spoon.
  7. Mix the following ingredients together and pour onto cake making sure to cover entire cake with the mixture.
  8. Eggs Beaten
  9. Cup White Corn Syrup
  10. Cup of Sugar
  11. /3 Cup Melted Butter
  12. /2 Cup Chopped Pecans
  13. /2 Tsp Vanilla
  14. Place the cake back into the oven and bake for another 30 minutes on 325. Cool in the pan, cut into squares
