So good! So Sinful! One bite and you will fall in love with these Ice Cream Puffs
Recipe type: Dessert
Serves: 12
  • 1 Cup of Water
  • ½ cup of Butter (I stick)
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Quart of Vanilla Ice Cream (or your favorite)
  • 2 cups of prepared hot fudge sauce heated
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a large baking sheet with parchment paper or generously grease and flour.
  2. Bring water, salt and butter to a boil in a medium saucepan cook until butter has melted. Remove from heat and add flour all at one time. Using a wooden spoon vigorously stir until mixture forms a ball and leaves sides of pan.
  3. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each egg until smooth. Using a ice cream scoop drop 12 mounds of dough on to baking sheet.
  4. Bake until deep golden brown about 30-35 minutes Poke a hole in each side of the puffs to allow steam to escape. Turn the oven off and return the baking sheet back to the oven to allow the puffs to dry about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely
  5. Cut each puff in half horizontally. Remove and discard any moist dough inside. Fill with a scoop of ice cream. Wrap each puff and place in the freezer until serving time. To serve drizzle puffs with the warmed hot fudge.
