I was recently asked if I would do a review for Almondina Cookies. When the package arrived I wasn’t home. My daughter called and asked if she could open the package. I said “Sure”. My biggest mistake was leaving a 22-year-old, a 10-year-old and a 3-year-old home alone with 8 packages of cookies. Lucky for me, I wasn’t gone long, because when I got home I was left with 6 packs of cookies and 2 empty packages like the one below.
Let me tell you a little about these cookies or as some call them biscuits. They are healthy for you. There is no added fat, no cholesterol, no salt, no coloring and no preservatives Just wonderful ingredients like almonds, raisins, cherries, chocolate and more. The only fat in these wonderful cookies comes from the roasted almonds.
I have picky children and they give these cookies 2 thumbs up and mom loves that they are eating healthy snacks. Ok, confession time! Mom grabbed a package of cookies and well I didn’t share. Hey don’t judge, they are delicious. A little tip add a little smear of cream cheese. Oh my gosh, so good!! Ok, so the cream cheese is not so healthy but, does it count it was low fat cream cheese?
You can find these cookies at Fairway, Hy Vee, Giant Eagle, Brookshire, Mollie Stone’s, Hannaford, Jewel, Whole Foods, The Fresh Market, Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Cost Plus World Market, TJ Maxx, Marshalls and many others.
